Live illustration is really making waves, and elevating all kinds of events, whether a corporate function, private soiree, or one of the biggest events in your life…your wedding day!
Your guests leave with a happy smile on their faces, and even a little gift/favour they can frame later on. (I hear all the time that guests have their live illustrations framed and displayed)
Live illustration is for weddings that want to feel beautiful, personal, and a little different.
Guest portraits are painted throughout the day, part keepsake, part atmosphere, and far more meaningful than another trip to the photo booth. Live illustration is a brilliant ice-breaker. It's interactive entertainment that produces squeals of delight (which I will never be tired of hearing) Why spend hundreds of pounds on Favours that will end up in a drawer (or worse, get left behind) when you can let your guests (and you) take home a truly personalised, sketched portrait of themselves?
As your live illustrator, I sketch and paint discreetly at the event and allow guests to interact as they wish until they pick up their very own illustrated portrait.
Each illustration is 100% hand drawn. No templates, No Stamps, No AI, just me. Each one is a true, original work of art.
I bring an assistant with me who will assist in the day's event ensure things run smoothly, take photographs and help to answer any questions on the day, making the experience simply amazing!
I am based in the North East of England, travelling all over the North of England to Live illustrate for stunning weddings and events. (check with me if you live further away to see if this is possible)

Alternative options
Wedding couple illustration - Weddings only
Do you fancy something a little different? You can book me to illustrate a chosen scene during your day of just the two of you.
This is a larger portrait illustration in my own signature style, so please take this into consideration as I don't replicate other artist's styles.
I generally work on A3 in watercolour and ink for this option and will paint around 4-5 hours onsite, finishing any details in the studio. You can have this mounted and ready for you to frame, or I can have this framed for you at an extra cost.
This is a lovely way to capture you both in a cute illustrative style and gives you a unique and charming original artwork to remember your special day. This can also be in addition to guest illustrations, and will be fully completed in the studio from photographs taken on the day.
Limited bookings available - I only take a few bookings per year for this service due to the extra work in studio.
The Extra details
Your celebration has been thought up and planned meticulously to create the most wonderful day you can think of. Of course you want to remember every little detail!
In addition to your live illustration booking, you can book a 'smaller details' addition to your package. This includes 4-5 A6 illustrations of some of the smaller details of your day such as; your wedding cake, florals, table settings and other fun details. Completed in the studio and mailed after the day.
Additional group illustrations
You may wish you had some group illustrations to create a display alongside your own. Perhaps the bride and bridesmaids, or groom and best men? maybe family that have travelled a distance to be together? Perhaps you would like a larger Illustration of the two of you?
Although I can only do one illustration per guest at the event, You can book group and/or individual extra illustrations as an add-on. these would be A6-A5 size and mailed after the day. please enquire for a quote.
Place settings
Place settings can be ordered as a complimentary addition, or if you would like an alternative to live illustration. Also a great idea if you are having a destination wedding and still want thoughtful details that make your guests feel special.
These can be either 'head and shoulders' illustrations on folded place settings, or full portraits on A6 completed in advance for you add to your tables. another great way to add wedding and party favours into your event.

Stationary
I'm working on some stationary choices at the moment, so keep your eyes on this spot for hand painted stationary options.
If you would like to commission your very own stationary to match your style, please get in touch and I'd be delighted to chat about your ideas and work with you to find the perfect choices. I will then work on creating tailored illustrations and searching for the perfect font (I'm definitely a typeface geek!) to bring your ideas to life. An amazing personal touch.
We would be creating your very own celebration brand! this can be arranged into Save-the-dates, Invites, Menus, Thank you cards and anything else you need.
